The Crimson 550 is constructed of 431 stainless steel, and offers such features as a sturdy mallet head and a slant-neck hosel. On the inside of each putter head, meanwhile, sits the Crimson Stronomic insert--the very insert technology that Odyssey built its reputation upon. The insert is firm and resilient, and teams up with the co-molded ground polymer face to provide a perfectly flush impact surface. The face and insert are even ground together to eliminate surface variations. The result? A perfect fit on all sides, a consistent putting performance, and a pleasing sound with great feedback. As a bonus, Odyssey included alignment lines on each putter, helping increase your accuracy and consistency so that more putts find their way into the cup.
