This Taylormade R9 460 Driver features Taylormade's Flight Control Technology (FCT), which lets you change the face angle, loft and lie. This means total adjustability to promote up to 40 yards of side-to-side trajectory change. In addition, this classically shaped 460cc driver also features Inverted Cone Technology for maximum forgiveness on off-center hits, a deeper back CG (center of gravity) for an easy-launching position and a super high MOI.

This is a great driver at a great price. This is one of the best drivers of all time!! Some drivers suit some golfers better than others but this one has the right sound, feel, and adjustability to fit most. I have been playing a 10.5, and I went down to an 9.5 and the trajectories are similar.

After going to a few sporting goods stores and looking at high priced drivers, I decided that my suspicions about over inflated prices and so called 'driver technology" were pretty much accurate. But get this at a cheap price. So wonderful.

I received this driver as a birthday gift last week. I played only one round with it, but it truly is a driver, that likes to pick on poor little white balls. I first tried the club out in a simulator, and didnt quite buy the distances they were reporting (260-290). I chalked it up to salemanship. I got the club anyway, and play a round the following day. I must say that with no adjustments from neutral, this club is a rock crusher.

This club has plenty of distance and it's easy to hit. Nice trajectory but doesn't feel all that great on flush shots like a blade. It never make me disappointed.

I shortened mine to 45 inches, and it refreshingly appears shorter than other 45 length drivers. Easy to control, fun to hit. I haven't changed the adjustable neck, but I've built my shafts with the FCT sleeve. A cool concept to be able to swap shafts yourself.
